As fast as a shutter, life had changed on September Eleven.
A crisp blue sky, made clear for those ascending to heaven.
In disbelief we stand here twenty five years later,
through photographs we remember our love grew greater.
Stills - as still as those lying beneath the rubble,
tears - still merging with each fire hose puddle.
In sadness we stand here twenty fire years later,
through photographs we remember our love grew greater.
A flash of light, on the darkest day reflected off each plane,
yet not as bright as each twinkle from the eyes of the humane.
Together, we stand here twenty five years later,
through photographs we remember the day our love grew greater.
